As of March 1, 2010, the NABP (North American Board of Pharmacists) took over as pharmacy quality control agency for Google. Immediately, the NABP made it necessary for any pharmacy advertisers to be a part of their VIPPS program (Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites). The issue is that VIPPS will NOT allow any online pharmacy that is not US based to participate in their program. In addition, VIPPS does not allow any pharmacy referral website to participate in their program.

In changing their policy, Google has eliminated the majority of their pharmacy advertisers. Why would Google cut-off such a tremendous revenue stream? Reasons, at this point, are merely conjecture due to a lack of a statement justifying Google’s decision. 7.     Eat fruits and veggies. Certain fruits and vegetables are loaded with Vitamin C, carotenoids, and phytonutrients which actually boost one’s immunity. Eat such produce items as oranges, berries, green beans and carrots. Vegetables such as broccoli and cauliflower are good choices too because they contain beta-carotene, which protects against free radicals, in addition to containing vitamin c and calcium. Shoot for about 7-10 servings each day.

8.     Avoid contact with sick people. Never eat or drink from the cups or plates of people that are sick. In addition, any plate or cup that they used should be washed in hot soapy water. Avoid sharing make-up, wash cloths or practically just about any item that a sick person has used.

9.     Take a multivitamin. Most people don’t get enough of the necessary vitamins and minerals. Taking a multivitamin will ensure that you get an adequate supply.

10. Wash your hands often. Most colds are spread through direct contact. Wash your hands with soap as often as possible for at least 20 seconds. If washing your hands is not always possible, make sure that you keep a hand sanitizer with you.
